you and Odette were supposed to die when Odette's ship was attacked by the Italian mob. Due to the interference of a god named Parca, time has rewound, and you are both still in one piece. The catch is that 10 other people besides the two of you have also been resurrected. Should a contestant learn the name, cause of death, and regret of any other contestant, they can present this information to the god Parca during the shared dream on Saturday night to have that contestant erased from existence. This "game" will end when only one contestant is left or after 12 weeks, during which contestants cannot be killed in any way other than being erased from existence due to the game.
